Leading construction and property development group, Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd, has reported a 93.2% surge in net profit to RM5.2 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025 (1Q25), marking its strongest quarterly performance in three years.
The sharp profit increase from RM2.7 million in the previous year’s corresponding quarter was driven by robust contributions from its property development segment, particularly the Idaman Bukit Jelutong and Idaman Kwasa Damansara affordable housing projects, both of which recorded high take-up rates.
The group’s revenue doubled to RM94.4 million, up from RM47.2 million in 1Q24, also in line with the accelerated progress of its affordable housing developments.
Commenting on the strong growth of financial results, Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Wan Azman Wan Kamal said Gagasan Nadi Cergas is on the cusp of a new era of enhanced growth and success as its integrated business model, coupled with value engineering and strong market demand, continues to drive momentum in the group’s property segment.
“Backed by supportive government policies and a focus on high-demand affordable housing, we are optimistic about sustaining its growth trajectory in the quarters ahead,” he added.
